Installing SRM Drivers

Notes for PC users: You will need to install SRM Win, the manufacturer software, in order for the proper device drivers to install for your SRM device.

Notes for Mac users:

The drivers for the SRM PC VI and SRM PC7 are included in the latest build of Device Agent, therefore you will NOT need to install the manufacturer software to get the device drivers.

If you have previously installed  the SRM Mac, the manufacturer software, and then install Device Agent, SRM Mac will no longer function properly.  If you install Device Agent and then SRM Mac, Device Agent will no longer function properly.  The drivers are exclusive and so the last installed application will be the one that works.

The drivers for the SRM PC V will need to be manually downloaded and are available from Prolific's website, here:  http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?id=31

The prolific driver will need to be installed before Device Agent will talk to the PC V head unit.
