| GEAR FISHER, Co-Founder, CTO |
|
|
Gear graduated from Colorado State University in 1991 with a degree in Civil Engineering. While in college, he competed as a category 2 road cyclist and earned many top ten placings in various races across the United States. After working for a water resources engineering firm for six years, he changed careers in 1998 to begin working as a programmer for a budding web consulting firm. A year later, and having risen to the position of Director of Technology, he took on another challenge by helping Managed Business Solutions start a new internet consulting unit within their Inc. 100 Company.
While helping grow the Internet Business Unit from four to over twenty people, he began working at home on a small side project with his close friends Dirk and Joe Friel: TrainingBible.com. This effort was a labor of love and grew out of his passion for cycling and endurance sports. Within two years, the company's success allowed him to leave MBS and become the first full time employee of TrainingBible.com, which would later become Peaksware, LLC.
Today Mr. Fisher is a Co-Founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Peaksware, LLC and is responsible for overseeing all technology and development for the company's products. He is also heavily involved with key business opportunities and strategic planning.
Gear lives in Fort Collins, CO with his wife Shana and their two daughters Payton and Kendal.
