Peaksware’s TrainingPeaks product line was re-vamped in October of 2007 in order to be compatible with HealthVault, Microsoft Corp.’s consumer health platform. Peaksware built additional TrainingPeaks application functionality onto the HealthVault platform with the purpose of increased data portability. Subscribers can “save” their data in the HealthVault and share it with other health-care providers. It’s your permanent digital health record. For your fitness or training, that’s where Peaksware’s products come in to seamlessly load and sync your fitness and training data to the HealthVault. With the combination of health and fitness data, the Microsoft HealthVault becomes a library of an individual’s entire physiological history.
