[Boulder, CO] — [January 7, 2008] — Peaksware, LLC, the leading provider of software systems to help motivated individuals and professionals achieve health, fitness and peak performance, today announced that all functionality offered in it's software platform FitnessPeaks has been merged into Peaksware's premier application TrainingPeaks. Both applications were designed to be compatible with Microsoft's HealthVault, however FitnessPeaks was developed in October, 2007 as a separte application to meet the specific needs of the general fitness industry.

Due to additional market research and in response from current users, Peaksware has consolidated the brands FitnessPeaks and TrainingPeaks into just the one application TrainingPeaks. All of the same functionality originally offered in FitnessPeaks can be found in TrainingPeaks including a safe and easy solution to monitor, analyze and plan exercise and nutrition information in a single place. TrainingPeaks also offers stand alone functionality including interactive meal and exercise plans and also gives users the opportunity connect with health and fitness professionals online.
