Peaksware, LLC has an immediate opening in our Lafayette, CO office for a Web Developer. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining, optimizing, and adding new features to our HTML5 based mobile application.
- Creation of a new product for use on the desktop based on HTML5
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science or comparable experience (3+ years).
- A strong passion and thirst to keep up with new industry trends and standards.
- Ability to learn new things and grow in architectural design and coding capabilities is a must
- Candidate must be self-motivated and be ready to jump in today!
- Strong exposure to object oriented design and development is necessary (Javascript)
- Usage of JQuery and usage of plugins
- HTML5 features such as local storage and manifests
- Interest in working in a Test Driven Development Environment
- Experience with version control systems such as VSS or SVN is a must
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft MVC/Visual Studio 2010
- Good understanding of database fundamentals, SQL Server and/or equivalent database experience
- Experience with REST services
- Passionate about running, cycling, triathlon or other sport and excited about tracking your workouts, fitness and/or nutrition
- Continuous Integration, Code Promotion and Deployment

This job requires the developer to live in the Denver, Boulder or Fort Collins area and work locally in our offices in Lafayette, CO, just a few miles from Boulder’s Flatirons.
