Peaksware today announced that its Board of Directors has named Gear Fisher, co-founder and formerly Chief Operating Officer to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Fisher co-founded Peaksware in 1999 and served as both Chief Technology Officer and recently as Chief Operating Officer overseeing the company’s products and business units.  As CEO, Mr. Fisher will be responsible for the growth and overall direction of the company. Andy Stephens, Peaksware’s Chairman of the Board, said the selection of Fisher as CEO was an obvious choice based on his experience and excellent track record leading both the technology and strategic paths of the company since its inception in 1999.

Mr. Fisher will assume his new duties immediately in succession of Donavon Guyot who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
